It's the End of an Era...
Relief12 years, 558 chapters and 56 manga books and it's all over. x3 It was a long run, and often very tiring-but well worth it for every level headed fan out there.
For those who dun wanna know what happened yet-stop reading here. SPOILER after this point.
It ended on a very happy note...After Narki's death and Kags managing to wish the shikon no tama into non-existance, she got stuck on the modern day side of the well for 3 years. She was able to finish and graduate high-school, while on the other side of the well Inu longed for her-though never once admitted it. Sango and Miroku had twins and a baby boy, and Shippou worked on becoming a great dai-kitsune.
At the end of the three years, Kags went to the well and somehow her feelings opened it back up again. Inuyasha smelled her right away and ran to help her out. They married, and Kagome decided to remain in the Sengoku Jidai-learning to be a miko from Kaede-bachaan while she stayed by her new husband's side.
That's the gist of the last chapter. Huzzah for a marriage no one with half a mind thought would happen. And although there is no immidiate sign of children for the hanyou and the miko-no doubt time will render some for the happy couple!
So-Congratulations to Takahashi-sensei for finishing another manga!
